“Shine On” è il singolo estratto dall’album Konk dei The Kooks. L’album, ha riscosso un gran successo vendendo circa 2 milioni di copie. ‘Shine On’, è una ballata molto dolce fino quasi a risultare sdolcinata, che non presenta parti creative che si riduce forse fin troppo su un ritornello orecchiabile ma non molto significativo dal punto di vista musicale.

    Mi dispiace contraddire,ma nn credo che sia giusto criticarli così…In fondo nn è male,anzi…Certo è che non è molto originale…Consiglio vivamente a chi è amante del loro genere di acquistare il loro ultimo lavoro….Non male….
    Sicuramente a chi ha scritto l’articolo non è di certo piaciuto,ma sono pareri…

    Ho trovato perlomeno dubbio fare uscire questo pezzo cm il secondo dell’album.. Io mi aspettavo “see the sun”:-(..sn altre le canzoni dell’album ke sn caratteristike del sound dei kooks.Ad esempio “gap”, un pò ballata stile “seaside” ma sicuramente molto più incisiva e orecchiabile di qst.. qll però ke cercavo in qst cd, una musica semplice e senza freni sullo stie indie-pop con sfumature punk, l’ho trovato in “stormy weather” e “sway”, ma soprattutto, (segnatevelo!!),in “down to the market, nn riesco a togliermela dalla testa quella kitarra!!il cd è leggero e spensierato, a volte malinconico cm il primo, ma nn deluderà !!THE KOOKS ARE OUT,IN THE STREET!! presto o tardi li noterete!

    non dice “why do you BUY the hand that feeds you” (che non ha senso) ma
    “Why do you BITE the hand that feeds you” (perche mordi la mano che ti ciba).

    Ciò detto, io adoro i the kooks!

    Questa canzone,come del resto tutte le altre,è bellissima.Almeno per me!…Il sound dei Kooks mi ha travolto dalla prima volta che ho ascoltato Naive…sono veramente unici nel loro genere…complimenti!
