A view from Kiev
Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine: it is one of ten largest European towns thanks to its 2.600.000 inhabitants shared among ten quarters. Its location, along the east bank of the river Dnieper, makes Kyiv a very important river port.
Industrial activity is expanded, in particular in the chemicals, mechanical, texile and footwear divisions.
